Under limited supervision of the Lead Stationary Engineer and under general supervision of the Facilities Engineering Manager /Assistant Director of Facilities Engineering, inspects, installs, and maintains all heating, ventilation, air conditioning equipment. Maintains the preventive maintenance program for all HVAC equipment. In the absence of the Master HVCR mechanic utilizes his State of Maryland Master Restricted and Anne Arundel County licenses to maintain and repair refrigeration equipment.


What You Need to Be Successful:


High School diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an approved apprenticeship program or a minimum of five (5) years related experience in the installation and repair of related equipment required.

Maryland State and Anne Arundel County Restricted HVACR licenses required. Certified as Type 1 & 2 Technician as required by 40 CFR part 82, sub-part F. Valid Maryland driver’s license required. All licenses must be kept current and in good standing.
